Netta Levy is the founder of LifeCare Concierge, where she helps families navigate the complexities of aging and elder care with clarity and confidence. Her approach is deeply personal: she supported her father through a sudden health crisis in 2021 and now guides her mother through her own aging journey. She’s passionate about helping families prepare before crisis strikes, ensuring loved ones age with dignity, security, and peace of mind.
Netta brings the strategic thinking and communication skills honed on Wall Street to her mission of supporting families during life’s most challenging transitions.
In 2013, Netta and her family made Westport, Connecticut their home—and haven’t looked back. She holds a BA in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania and lives with her husband, three children, and their rescue dog, Sonny.

Friday Meeting - January 16
Carla Becerra Sabrera and Thomas Okubo, Yale Rotaract Club
Thomas Okubo, a sophomore at Yale and Treasurer of the Yale Rotaract Club, and Carla Becerra Sabrera, a senior at Yale and President of Yale Rotaract, were our speakers last Friday. They told us about the Yale Rotaract Club and their many service projects. The main focus of their talk was the Rotary Global Grant project to strengthen maternal and neonatal care in Cajamarca, Perú. The project will equip the Simón BolÃvar Hospital—which serves over 350,000 residents but has only five neonatal beds—with vital-signs monitors and CPAP systems for newborns at risk from preventable complications. They are seeking funding grants for the project.
Anil Nair was our Opener last Friday.
For the second week in a row, a guest who drew the winning ticket drew his own ticket! Colin Gershon was the lucky winner last week.
Raffle tickets are $50 each and each ticket will be assigned a randomly selected pair of numbers, one for each team. If those two numbers correspond to the final score of the Super Bowl (or at the end of any quarter), that person wins. Ticket purchasers need not be at the Super Bowl, watch the Super Bowl, or even care about football to win. Odds of winning are the same regardless. 50% of all ticket sales go directly to charitable giving and 50% goes to the winners of the raffle. Tickets will be sold through the morning of the number drawing (Friday, February 6, two days before the Super Bowl). Tell your friends!
Join us for an energizing morning and early afternoon of connection, learning, and inspiration at the Rotary District 7980 Learning Assembly — proudly led by District Governor-Elect Don Wetmore.
This Assembly brings together Rotarians from across the district — Presidents, Presidents-Elect, Assistant Governors, Secretaries, Treasurers, and both new and seasoned members — for a shared purpose: strengthening our clubs and preparing for Rotary’s next chapter.
Under Don’s leadership, the morning will feature engaging, practical sessions focused on:
Building vibrant clubs and growing membership
Using AI as a smart tool to support club success
Sharing your Rotary story with confidence and clarity
Understanding the power of peace and the impact of the Rotary Foundation
This is your opportunity to reconnect with why you joined Rotary, gather ideas you can use right away, and be part of a district-wide effort to lead with purpose, passion, and impact.
Presented by the Westport Sunrise Rotary Club and the Westport Rotary Club, the event is free and open to the public. Please join us!

GILLESPIE CENTER COOKING / SERVING SCHEDULE
One of our club’s ongoing and rewarding commitments to community service is our commitment to serving dinner meals on the first Saturday of each month at the Gillespie Center here in Westport.
We are back to serving meals at the newly renovated Gillespie Center. We have the option to drop off prepared meals at 4:30 PM or to bring meals to serve in person at 4:40 PM (allow extra time if the meals need to be reheated). Meal service should include a main dish, side dish, vegetable, and dessert (no nuts or shellfish please). The number of meals to provide, currently 25, will be confirmed to you to in advance when it is your turn to serve.
If you choose to drop off prepared meals at 4:30 PM you have the option to prepare homemade meals, purchase prepared meals at the store/restaurant of your choice, or you can contact Fresh Market on the Post Road in Westport where you can purchase prepared meals (protein, two sides and cookies for $7 - $10 per meal). If you choose the Fresh Market option call Tory at 203 227-2910 on the Monday prior to your meal service to place your order. You can pay for the meals when you pick them up.
If you are unable to work on your assigned Saturday you will be responsible to call other Rotarians on the list to switch dates.
